Prom Session

As a portrait photographer, it can be very rewarding to capture happy moments, people, while they are celebrating. To preserve memories, like some sort of a time capsule. An easy-to-use time machine, one click, or look, and you are back in time, reliving that moment.

Prom, one of the very important events in one's life, marking the final of a chapter. The beginning of a new one, new friendships, new life.

Admiral's Park, in Chelmsford, there we were, six beautiful teenage girls. Freshly out the makeup artists and hairdressers chairs, their proud parents, and me, the guy with the camera.

Laughter, I believe that describes the session. Laughing and having fun. Big smiles, everyone was in good spirits, lots of pictures were taken, a very good day.

The session started with individual pictures, and I think I have managed to get some good pictures of the girls.

After the individual portraits, we have continued taking group pictures. Tried different posing and then, a few with the limo. Oh yes, they had a limo booked for their special day!

We went to the venue after this. The work of the portrait photographer is never ended. Took a few more pictures there, a very nice place, a lot of teenagers, a lot of parents.

I have to admit, a bit nervous I was. The first time I had so many models. The first time I had to take so many pictures in a span of an hour and a bit. I've learned a lot, made a few notes of how I can improve. A very good day with good results. Looking forward to the next one!
