Anglesey Abbey

Photography, my hobby, my passion. Not quite in the last time... I have blamed the bad weather, the restrictions, the fact that I have to book visits, many things... Last week I have managed, at last, to convince myself that maybe the time has come to stop walking just around Saffron Walden, and try to explore some other place. Explore, way too much said. Let's call it visiting.

Anglesey Abbey. I have been here a few times before, I am not sure when is the last time that I visited the location, but I know for sure that the last time I have been into a National Trust, where I am a proud member, was in October last year. I couldn't believe it! Eight months ago!

Quite a nice weather that day, maybe a bit on the windy side, but that it was not a problem. No excuses! Camera bag in the car and drive a little.

Arrived at the location in time for my booking, and started walking around. It's nice to be back, surrounded by nature. Colorful flowers, darkened paths through the trees, well-kept gardens, the amazing smell of summer all around, so many insects buzzing everywhere, such a nice and lovely place.

I walked quite a bit and spent just over four hours by myself in this marvelous location, I took quite some nice pictures. I missed it! I forgot how nice all of this was, and now that I remembered... I have already booked another location, another place that I haven't visited in more than eight months!

It's going to be easier, as restrictions are being lifted, I can just turn up from now on without booking. Yes!!!
