Lockdown episode three: Photoshop Adventures

Photoshop: what an amazing piece of software! With a few tutorials, a few trials, a bit of time spent working with it (that was a lie, a lot of time) one can do so much with an image... And I'm just starting to discover, starting to learn how to manipulate colors, shapes, light and shadows, and darkness.

I tried to give myself a Gerard de Rivia look. For those that do not know the character, check The Witcher on Netflix. I believe that it deserves a bit of a watch if the viewer is a bit into the land of fantasy, a land of demons, witches, and the supernatural. And oh I can be.

But I've lost the plot, I was talking about photoshop. I do enjoy a bit of a play in this comprehensive program. There is basically no limit or border if the user is bold enough, yes one can be limited only by knowledge, but that is easily overcome by hard work, a bit of free time (a lot), and a lot of stubbornness!

This is the image that I have started with. A self-portrait that I took on the first day of this year. I've experimented with a hair straightener... Because I'm worth it! Obviously!

After some basic edits, I took the image in Photoshop and the fun started: layers above layers, color change, light adjustments, sharpness enhancement in some places, more color changes, dropped some shadows, more color changes, shall I continue? It might take a while... I worked for a bout a couple of hours at it...

I shall not. I'll just add the result image.
