Lockdown - episode three: Portraits

Portrait photography. A nice and rewarding path to follow as a photographer. So uplifting seeing the joy when the final results are being presented to your subjects. When I think that about a year ago I was saying that I would probably never do portraits...

I do love landscape photography, that's my to-go subject every time I have a bit of free time. A wonderful combination of traveling, exploring, discovering new locations, enjoying marvelous views, and photography. What's not to love about this? Even as a non-photographer.

Back to portraits. I have invested in some light, some backdrops, and umbrellas and I have started taking pictures of my housemates, friends, and family whenever I got the chance. And my friends and family faces were showing more and more happiness with each picture presented to them, I do feel accomplished when my work puts a big smile on someone's face!

Let me share with you the latest portrait of beautiful Daniela. I'm so happy and thankful that she likes and enjoys having her portraits taken by me.

Studio shots taken in the livingroom. Yes! In the livingroom!

I was mentioning a free photography session in my last post. It is still on the table, let's say that for the time been Lockdown 3.0 has slow it down. It still coming though. Promise!

P.S. No lockdown rules have been broken with this session. Staying safe here!
